Also, yay for two things! Last week I went to try a second hand bicycle, a grandma bike they called it. OMG! I am so proud of myself I am able to ride them good, well could be better! And…. Helgi, the person in-charge of the bike told me that I might be able to try that soon to be my bike on Tuesday (He got it changed and fixed!) I am so excited!!! Secondly, I’ve just received my kindle yesterday!! I LOVE IT! why would I contemplating to get it for YEARSS!! I should have gotten it years back. Now, I am so excited to read lots of book this year! The reason I decided to get kindle now is because, as much as I love physical books, oh! the smell of it and the texture! We will be one day moving back to Singapore and I do not want to part ways with my beloved books again like what happened when I moved in with Adrian / owl (my husband) when we bought our own apartment. Also, English books here in Denmark are quite expensive and last reason is, I’d love to carry them everywhere I go. So, yes! Finally I’ve gotten it. So happy! What are you reading now? Do you have any favourite book? I am currently reading Killing Commendatore by Haruki Murakami. Have you read it? What do you think about it?
it's okay to take a break
Hej, friends! How are you today. So, I am officially taking a break from Danish language class. It is sad to partways with my lovely classmates but well I feel like I need to re adjust my focus to my illustrations. Last year, I was lucky enough to be able to set up my etsy shop properly and had customers around the globe purchasing my work. Those means a whole world to me. Being foreigner in this foreign country and have no friends were super scary! But I am glad I braved thru those. My etsy customers play real HUGE part on how I don’t give up and trying to stay motivated to continue to try my best on my illustration. Their lovely words always lifted me up. When someone purchased my artwork, I feel like I have been given an approval that my work speaks to them and I have some how reached my mission which is to put smile on their faces. I hope I can spread more of my work again this year!
