Needling not noodling
I purchased some felt needle packs last year and start making them after being on the box for some months! I love stuff that i could touch or keep like real real physical stuffs! I have tons of small little knick knacks at home that i have to hold my might not to get any but again…… who can resist?
I bought some pack waaaaayyy before like when i was out of college and has some money to spend without feeling guilty! but i always neglected them and never even touch it. Such a waste! i regret that, same goes to pack of doll sewing kit. I always attracted by these sewing, embroidering, punch needling stuffs. Its not messy (well messy in certain way when threads got tangled) and its fun to do! I did those too, I hand made pouches as Christmas gifts for my family and friends. I made a whole new pouch and embroider pictures on them!! I miss those time.
So, i am pretty proud when i could finished one panda bear and then another one and another one! They are not perfect and need more practices but I love them still.
Then when I am a bit confident, I made the simplest thing! my little Spyder and a pear :) I love them so much!
Just last weekend, i needle felt this cute little i don’t know what. It is so weird and funny that i love it so much! It intend to be a bunny but then i just go with the flow!
Cheers!
Hey!! I hope you had a splendid weekend! Sending you love if you had less splendid one. Mine wasn’t so great either. I mean, well it is but in the same time not really. You see, me and my husband finally fully vexed!!! So excited! We had to travel to Holmwood to get our second jab. It was just 15 mins train ride and it was kinda cold due to the rain all day but the people in the vaccine centre were so so lovely, my heart feel so warm.
Long story short, not very good because on Sunday about afternoon time we gotten the side effect. We were K.O.! We couldn’t even open our insulated water bottle. So that was a good laugh there and we both just lying on the bed, snuggle in the blanket and I had my warm water pad with me. I felt headache, cold, shiver and almost like fever. But hey!!! we are okay now!! Well almost. I still have a slight headache and sore arm. BUT SO HAPPY!!! Now we can travel to London soon!
Ah, also! I had a fun Japanese lesson arranged by koko Japanese via zoom. Despite the 1 AM zoom call and be all so sleepy, I had so much fun! Do check them out yo! I’ve also being a little bit productive and updated my website :) Tidy them up and putting new stuffs. So rewarding!
Also, yay for two things! Last week I went to try a second hand bicycle, a grandma bike they called it. OMG! I am so proud of myself I am able to ride them good, well could be better! And…. Helgi, the person in-charge of the bike told me that I might be able to try that soon to be my bike on Tuesday (He got it changed and fixed!) I am so excited!!! Secondly, I’ve just received my kindle yesterday!! I LOVE IT! why would I contemplating to get it for YEARSS!! I should have gotten it years back. Now, I am so excited to read lots of book this year! The reason I decided to get kindle now is because, as much as I love physical books, oh! the smell of it and the texture! We will be one day moving back to Singapore and I do not want to part ways with my beloved books again like what happened when I moved in with Adrian / owl (my husband) when we bought our own apartment. Also, English books here in Denmark are quite expensive and last reason is, I’d love to carry them everywhere I go. So, yes! Finally I’ve gotten it. So happy! What are you reading now? Do you have any favourite book? I am currently reading Killing Commendatore by Haruki Murakami. Have you read it? What do you think about it?
Take care and stay well, my friends.
Cheers,
Happisis
First midsomar in Copenhagen
I finally experienced my first mid summer in Copenhagen. All thanks to my dear friend Madli, whom I know from Anaise. She is from Estonia and she invited me to her place, we had good chat, nice music, great summer foods and we had our prettiest flower crowns! First time went to the nature and pluck some flowers, if my mom knew it she’ll be furious.
