• Client approached me after seeing my existing Milk Box series illustration. They are looking for something pretty similar to them with a unique character spin on strawberry, chocolate, banana and white milk (cow milk).   • 2021 | Orenji kun is supposed to be a cookie products from sister company, kuruton. Brief from client is “Cute, cheerful, colourful and simple with Japan feel brand” I came up with this orange character that rather different from the usual orange. It is rather long but plum, I am inspired by Jeju Island’s orange shape. I had fun doing this project especially designing the pattern on the box and cookie sleeves and playing with logo, even though client only give less than 2 weeks to completed the task.

  • Kuruton is a small independent F&B business in Indonesia. Brief from client is “Cute, simple with Japan feel brand” I came up with rough fun sketch of irregular shaped bread carrying the letter ku-ru-to-n in katakana (Japanese word) and turns out the client loves it and we just work from there on. We chose simple black and white to keep it clean, minimalist and like a comic. This is on-going project on 2020. I had fun doing this project as the client given me full control of the art.   • This is a quite early project I’ve gotten from a friend of mine who then worked at Fuji TV,Japan. I was so so happy to be able to worked on this show. If you know me personally, you will know my love towards Japan. So, this is like a dream come true project! Not my best work but definitely a project that given me booster to wanting to be better illustrator. I was then a full time Production Assistant at Animation Studio in Singapore and I accepted this job as a part time job. This is a very fun ride for me personally. I did quite a lot of illustrations for this show, I covered the entire month of the show with my graphics due to the producer / director wanted it to be a one similar style for the entire month. The brief is pretty simple, I have to depict some words / sentences that given to an illustration. A friend of mine managed to send me clips of the show.
